The Flexible Alternative
While rigid plastic Tear Caps can be the ideal solution for certain applications, many people opt for our line EZ Tab or Grab Tab vinyl caps as a more desirable alternative. They also feature tabs for ease of removal, but also have these benefits.
- Made from a flexible vinyl material, StockCap Short Caps typically provide a more secure fit than the rigid polyethylene caps.
- Vinyl caps are also typically easier to install and do not crack, split, or shred in the way that many polyethylene caps will over time.
- Unlike Tear Caps, vinyl Short Caps can be made in virtually any length one desires with no additional tooling charges.
- Short Caps can be manufactured in wide variety of colors and materials without extensive lead times.
