Prior to working with StockCap, Bentek was using bags and tape to secure the cables connection to the combiner. Not only did this look unprofessional, but the tape would wear out over time and the bags would fall off.
Working with engineers at Bentek, the StockCap team developed a series of flexible vinyl long caps to replace the bag-and-tape solution. The naturally insulative vinyl material was ideal for the job and provided the tight, but not permanent fit, that was ideal for the application.
Furthermore, the dip molded long caps could be made in virtually any length without the need for tooling charges and StockCaps in-house secondary department could slice the long caps to deliver the sleeves that Bentek required.
Enhanced Professionalism
With the performance issue solved, the teams then turned to enhancing the look of the new sleeves. To do this, the formulation team at StockCap worked to match Bentek’s distinctive blue color.
